There are many kinds of lifting tongs, and the common ones are as follows: horizontal lifting lifting tongs, vertical lifting lifting tongs, round steel and round pipe clamps, I-beam clamps, oil drum lifting tongs, etc. Let me explain how to apply each of them.
Horizontal lifting lifting pliers: used for lifting and handling flat ordinary steel plates. It belongs to the single-arm lever type, which uses the principle of leverage when lifting, and the clamping force is generated by the weight of the lifting object. The horizontal lifting clamp has the characteristics of evenly distributed horizontal lifting. When lifting, open the jaw of the horizontal lifting clamp, firmly clamp it on the heavy object to be operated, and then lift it. When disassembling, the heavy object should be placed on the ground, and the lifting tongs should be removed under the condition of no load.
Vertical lifting lifting clamp: used for lifting and handling ordinary steel plates placed vertically. It uses the weight of the hanging object to generate clamping force, and is equipped with a self-locking device that is used with a handle. When the handle is turned to the upper edge, the self-locking device can generate auxiliary clamping force under the action of the spring force, and the jaws have pre-clamping force before the clamping force is generated by the weight of the hanging object. When the hoisting object needs to be removed, the handle is turned to the lower edge, and the opening of the nipper is turned to the edge at this time, and is locked by a self-locking device for easy loading and unloading.
Round steel and round pipe clamps, I-shaped steel clamps: used for lifting and handling flat round steel, it is also a single-arm lever type, and the clamping force is generated by the weight of the lifting object.
Oil drum tongs: a special tool specially used for lifting or transporting oil drums. Make sure that the weight of the oil drum and the materials inside does not exceed the maximum rated load of the oil drum lifting tool. When hoisting oil barrels, they should be hoisted stably and not too fast. When learning to put down the oil drum, it should be placed gently to avoid damage to the oil drum. When hoisting and learning to put down the oil drum, be sure to ensure that the hoisting tool rises and falls vertically.
