During the lifting operation, the users must be trained by a qualified training unit and pass the examination before they can work with a certificate. The lifting tongs must be equipped with protective devices, such as lifting weight limiters, stroke limiters, Over-winch limiter, electrical protective zero connection device, end stop, buffer, interlock device, rail clamp, signal device, etc. So, what are the main items to ensure the correct use of lifting tongs?
1. Strictly inspect and repair crane parts, such as wire ropes, chains, hooks, rings and rollers, etc., and replace those that are scrapped immediately, and establish and improve maintenance, regular inspection, shift systems and correct use procedures.
2. When the lifting tongs are running, it is forbidden for staff to go up and down, and it is not allowed to overhaul during operation. To get on and off the crane, you need to use a special ladder. People are not allowed to stand in the area where the cantilever of the crane can reach. No people are allowed within the working range of the electromagnetic crane. Standing person; cannot process the hanging items. Lifted items cannot stay in the air for a long time, and protective measures should be taken under special circumstances.
3. When the lifting tong users take over the shift, they should check the brakes, hooks, wire ropes and protective devices. If abnormalities are found, the faults should be eliminated before use, and the bell or alarm must be ringed before driving. When approaching a person during use, a continuous bell or alarm should also be given. Use according to the command signal, no matter who sends the emergency stop signal, it should be executed immediately.
4. Only when it is confirmed that no one is working can the main power supply be closed for use. If the power is suddenly cut off during work, all controller handles should be returned to zero; before resuming work, check whether the lifting tongs are working normally.
