Problems with the use of steel plate clamps

There are also many potential dangers in the use of steel plate clamps. Before, when workers were using steel plate clamps, their fingers were pinched due to the problem of using the steel plate clamps. In order to ensure the smooth operation of the steel plate clamp, it is necessary to pay attention to the following important instructions.

  1. After the object to be grasped is put down, the claws should be separated from the heavy object to be grasped, so as not to be clamped again when the lifting tongs are lifted.

  2. The relative positions of the hinges connecting the claws, support plates, pull rods and small pull rods in the steel plate clamp are determined after testing and comparing the coordinates. The relative positions determine the force direction of the claws and the stroke of the claws the size of.

  3. When hoisting various types of parts, the jaws should be stuck at the center of gravity of the object to be grasped as much as possible, so as to reduce the inclination of the heavy object to be lifted, avoid scratches on the object to be grasped, and reduce the wear of claws and tooth plates, thereby Increase its durability.

  4. Try to avoid larger burrs and poor strength parts where heavy objects are caught, so as to avoid slipping and snap rings.

  5. Lifting and transporting the steel plate can be lifted from horizontal to vertical, and it is better to snap all the jaws in. From the horizontal position to the vertical position, the claws gradually grasp the steel plate. When the steel plate is in a vertical position, there is no danger of falling down, because as long as the center of gravity is deviated, the lifting tongs will be grasped.

  6. When placing heavy objects after hoisting, there is no impact phenomenon. The lifting tongs are gradually loosened as the heavy objects touch the support surface until they are all placed smoothly.

  7. The small hook on the shell of the steel plate lifting tongs can be used when the jaws are not grasping heavy objects and the jaws are in an open state. When the heavy objects are stuck in the jaws, the small hooks are removed and lifted upwards to start working. After the hoisting is completed, hang the small hook, and the crane can lift the tongs without manpower.
