Oil drum lifting pliers, as the name suggests, are pliers for lifting oil drums (not necessarily oil drums, any barrel can be used), and are widely used in petrochemical enterprises, large oil depots, gas stations and other industries. Because the objects it lifts are quite special, you need to pay attention to the following points when using it:
1. In order to ensure smooth operation during use, it is necessary to apply a little lubricating oil to each part after a period of time, especially to each movable joint. If there is a lack of lubricating oil, the friction between the various parts will increase, and the service life of the oil drum lifting tongs will be affected.
2. Make sure that the lubricating oil does not get on the pliers, otherwise the friction between the oil drum and the pliers will decrease, which is not conducive to the smooth lifting of the oil drum.
3. Ensure a rapid and steady rise. The oil drum is full of liquid. If it rises suddenly, the liquid will shake, and the entire oil drum will become more and more unstable, which may cause the wear of the lifting tongs and even the fall of the oil drum.
4. When lowering and placing the oil drum, the action should be light and level, otherwise it will easily cause the oil drum to fall to the ground and break.
5. Make sure not to overload before lifting.
