Steel plate tongs is a common lifting tool, which has been widely used by major enterprises. The Steel plate tongs have the characteristics of evenly distributed horizontal lifting. The Steel plate tongs must pass the factory inspection to be regarded as a qualified product. The Steel plate tongs’ factory inspection mainly includes the following items:
1. Each Steel plate tongs that leaves the factory must pass the inspection of the inspection department of the manufacturer before leaving the factory, and the products must have a certificate of conformity.
2. The factory inspection items include the appearance inspection and static load test of steel plate lifting clamps.
1. Appearance inspection of steel plate clamps. All parts shall be free from flaws such as cracks and rust; all steel plate clamps shall be in good condition and assembled correctly; all movable parts shall be flexible and reliable.
2. Static load test of steel plate clamp. Each product must undergo a static load test with a test load twice the rated lifting capacity of the product.
3. The test load should be added gradually, and the suspension time should not be less than three minutes. After unloading, check the parts of the Steel plate tongs. There must be no cracks, deformation, paint peeling or damage that affects performance. There is no connection. Loose or damaged, the increase of the opening shall not exceed 0.25% of the original opening.
